Contra Costa County NOW, a San Francisco Bay Area-chapter of the National Organization for Women,
is one of the oldest and most prominent feminist organizations in the US. Once again, CCC NOW is
offering two $1,000 scholarships to 2 women of color who are residents of Contra Costa County,
enrolled in an accredited not-for-profit college or university, in either a two-year or four-year academic
program. We are also looking to support women who have demonstrated leadership as activists in
their community. These scholarships reflect our commitment to supporting marginalized women of
color in an effort to enable each woman’s pursuit of an education.
